Business problem
What problem are we actually solving?
Kicking off a due-diligence process means getting the right people, questions and documents into the first meeting. Preparing that agenda was a manual exercise that repeated on every deal and depended on what the lead happened to remember.
Target users
Who is this for, and what does their day look like?
Development managers leading acquisition due diligence.
Current process
How does it work today, and where does it hurt?
The lead reviewed the initial document set, drafted an agenda from memory and prior templates, and circulated it. Open items and required attendees were often discovered during the meeting rather than before it.
Desired outcomes
What does better look like?
- A kickoff agenda generated from the site's document set and the standard due-diligence checklist.
- Open questions, missing documents and required consultants surfaced up front.
- Consistent structure across every deal regardless of who runs it.
Constraints
What limits, systems, data or rules apply?
- Had to align with the organisation's existing due-diligence checklist and workstream structure.
- Grounded in the same document repository as the risk agent, with no separate data preparation.
- Output in a format that could go straight into a calendar invite or meeting note.
Success metrics
How will we know it worked?
- Kickoff preparation time, before and after.
- Open items identified before the meeting rather than during it.
- Adoption across deal teams.
What was built
A companion agent to the risk analysis agent, reusing the same repository grounding, producing a structured agenda with attendee list, workstream status, open questions and a document request list.
